Step Chair
I found some basic plans for this online and thought it would be fun to make. It is a very sturdy chair that transforms into a step ladder. Only problem is that it's actually quite heavy due to the red oak. Materials: red oak wood, brass hinges.

Ring Box
I made this box for a friend in college. She enjoyed watching me and her husband create things with wood and was fascinated by my small boxes previously shown and wanted one of her own. So I designed and secretly created this box in front of her. Only after it was finished did she find out it was created for her. The idea behind it is: there are three figures holding hands around the ring (husband, wife, God), the love between them it holds the marriage together. Materials: red oak and purpleheart.

Foot Stool
I created this footstool to go with the chair that a friend of mine created. I did not design this but it is from plans that my friend had acquired. There is a separate cushion that goes on top which was not made when I took these pictures. Materials: red oak.

Jewelry Box
I like the look of curly maple and purpleheart woods and created this jewlery box for a friend of mine. It was a bit of a challenge to work with since the maple warped more than I would have liked. Materials: curly maple purpleheart.

Gothic Chapel
I designed and created this for fun because it had been a long time since I had done any projects. I had never worked with basket weaving materials before but it seemed to be the best way I could think of to easily create the bends I needed without major equipment. It actually ended up much harder than I had anticipated and took over a month to finish. Materials: basket weaving reeds and bass wood.

For a Dental Christmas gift exchange party I figured I would make something with some materials I had so I cut out a couple trivets. Materials: birdseye maple.
1931 Echophone Radio
I was asked to recreate a 1931 Echophone 60 Radio for someone who loves Gothic architecture. They opted to put a CD player inside of it instead of a radio. Also unlike the original they wanted a door on the back. Materials: Walnut and a high detail 3D printed name plate.
